Yup, folks you read it right! I’ve been tagged by the loveliest blogger, Etta, who writes a pretty blog called Etta’s Threads. The way this works is my tagger, Etta, posed eleven questions she’d like me to answer. I then ask eleven different questions to a bunch of other rad bloggers so that we can all get to know each other better. Fun, right? One of the many fun things about blogging is connecting with other bloggers who share my passion for writing. So, below are the rules proceeded by the answers to my tagged questions.

Question #1: What is your favorite and least favorite thing about blogging?
My favorite thing about blogging is writing. Ever since I can remember, I’ve had a desire to share my thoughts on paper. Blogging allows me to have a platform to share my heart and connect with others in blog land. My least favorite thing would have to be not having enough time to do it. I wish I could blog and blog all day, but, alas, I have a full time job so blogging is something I can only do in my free time. I try to squeeze it in whenever I can!
Question #2: What is one goal you have created for yourself and met?
I used to be much heavier than I am today. Years ago, I decided to transform my lifestyle and lose significant weight. I revamped my eating and exercise habits and slowly but surely began to lose the weight. It was a lot of hard work and it is a daily struggle to maintain, but I have succeeded. I am proud of this accomplishment, mainly because it takes a lot of dedication and sacrifice.
Question #3: Is there a clothing item you have had for years and still wear it frequently?
Most of my flats are shoes that I have had for quite some time. I tend to keep shoes as long as I can and then realize I need to part ways with some that aren’t worn as often. For example, I have these super cute camouflage flats I bought when I was living in London in 2000 which I still wear and adore.
Question #4: Do you prefer silver or gold? Why?
I prefer both – depends on the occasion. I used to detest wearing gold if it weren’t real, but now I love gold chunky necklaces that are obviously not authentic, but still make a fun fashion statement. I wear both types of metals and sometimes combine the two! Why not?
Question #5: What would be first thing you did if you won a million dollars?
I would give most of it to Mr. ShuGar so that he can make his film. He is an amazingly talented filmmaker and I would love to see his film project(s) fully funded. Making a film is no joke – it’s uber-expensive.
Question #6: If you could be from a different era, what era would you be from? (‘20’s,’30’s…etc)
Hmmmm….that’s a tough one. I dig the mod fashion so I would probably say the 1960’s. This way I could also see the Beatles in all their glory. Wow!
Question #7: What is your favorite season? Why?
Definitely summer – it’s vacation time, it gets darker later and it’s my birthday season!
Question #8: What do you love about writing?
Because it’s who I am. It is my heart and soul. I don’t think there’s anything else I can say which encapsulates my passion than writing. It’s like painting a canvas with words.

Quirky, Fun, Happy, Lovely, & Vibrant
Question #10: What is the last book you read?
Blankets by Craig Thompson for our book club. I am currently reading four books right so that makes me super excited. I am a bookworm.
Question #11: If you could be extremely great at one thing, what would it be?
Definitely being a good wife and hopefully one day an excellent mother. Life is about love. Everything else is secondary. I hope I can be the best person to my family because nothing else really matters.
